Established in 1996, Chongqing Landai Industry Co., Ltd. is a private company specialized in the manufacturing of automotive transmissions, transmission parts, gearbox housing cases, engine cylinder blocks and motor bike gears. With over 1,400 employees, Landai has achieved an annual turnover of RMB500 million in 2008.
The company is equipped with complete and advanced machines and facilities, such as gear-cutting machines, gear measuring machines, heat treatment lines, high pressure die casting lines, casting machining lines and dynamic test stands, etc. In addition to 800 sets of domestic-made CNC machines, Landai has also imported a group of precision machines from Japan, Germany, Italy and Taiwan, including hob re-sharpeners, shaving cutter re-sharpeners, fully-automated CNC gear grinders, spline form rolling machines, electrochemical machines, roundness testers, form tracers, height verniers, metal spetrums and gear measuring centers. At the moment, the company has 3 heat treatment lines, 2 gearbox assembly lines, 4 sets of pressure die casting machines ranging from 1250 tons to 2500 tons and 2 machining lines for die casting parts. Recently, Landai has completed the establishment of a bench test laboratory so that all the newly developed transmissions can be tested in house for technical validations.
