The summer test of Weichai U70B equipped with Landai 6AT gearbox has been successfully completed

2020 In July, the summer test of Landai6AT on the Weichai Automobile U70B project proceeded as planned. This year's summer test was different from previous years; due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, our calibration team also faced greater challenges.
Starting from July 9, 2020, our calibration team began a 40-day summer test. After a brief COVID-19 quarantine in Turpan, the high-temperature test officially began. On the deserted Turpan Gobi Desert, our calibration team endured temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, conducting high-temperature tests on the transmission, such as calibration of high-temperature shifting performance, calibration of high-temperature maps, verification of high-temperature protection strategies, and high-temperature soak tests, etc., covering the verification work of high-temperature projects.
Due to the impact of epidemic prevention and control measures in Urumqi and Turpan, Xinjiang, the calibration team decided to move to Dunhuang, Gansu to complete the remaining high-temperature test projects. On August 2, the Landai6AT transmission withstood the high temperatures and successfully passed the Weichai high-temperature test project acceptance, accumulating a large amount of test verification data for the subsequent mass production of the 6AT transmission.
After a day's rest, on August 4, the calibration team drove to the Qilian Mountains to begin the plateau test. Here, our calibration team completed the calibration and verification work of plateau identification, plateau map setting and verification, plateau NIC setting and verification, plateau mountain road drivability verification, and plateau slope identification and verification. Facing the hypoxic conditions at an altitude of 4120 meters, our calibration engineers remained high-spirited. Even though the road ahead was fraught with difficulties and obstacles, they resolutely chose to meet the challenges head-on, overcome difficulties, remain true to their original aspirations, and forge ahead! Finally, through the unremitting efforts of the calibration engineers, the Weichai plateau test drive acceptance was successfully passed.
The Landai6AT transmission traveled more than 4500 kilometers during the high-temperature and plateau tests, withstood various environmental tests, and successfully completed the summer test work of Landai6AT on the Weichai U70B project with excellent results!
