The Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar, is the first Chinese festival to be inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It boasts a long history and rich cultural significance.
To cultivate and practice the core socialist values, promote national culture, and carry forward patriotism, on the afternoon of June 10th, on the eve of the Dragon Boat Festival, the Group's Party Committee carefully organized a "Fragrant Rice Dumplings, Deep Feelings for Landai" themed event. Company Vice General Manager Bian Weiqin, Company Party Secretary and Director of the General Office Wu Zhi Lan, and more than 30 Party members, cadres, and employee representatives participated in the event.
The fragrant aroma of rice dumpling leaves filled the air, each grain of glutinous rice carrying deep affection. The activity included a fun-filled rice dumpling-making session, creating a strong festive atmosphere. Everyone skillfully rolled the leaves into funnels, filled them with glutinous rice, meat, egg yolks, and other ingredients, tightly packing and tying them. In no time, dumpling after dumpling appeared… Everyone participated wholeheartedly, enjoying themselves immensely. In line with the principle of saving food and preventing waste, the dumplings will be cooked in the canteen and distributed to employees to share the delicious food and celebrate the festival together.
The successful holding of the event enhanced the cohesion and centripetal force of Party members and employees, making the Dragon Boat Festival even more meaningful.
