Salute the Third-Line Construction Spirit, Shoulder the Responsibility of the Times | Landai Technology Party Committee Carries Out "Tracing Red Memories, Gathering Momentum for Progress" Themed Party Day

To further promote patriotism and enhance the Party consciousness and cultivation of Party members through national defense and national security education, on July 6, the Landai Technology Party Committee organized more than 30 Party members, probationary Party members, and active Party members to visit the "816" underground nuclear project in Fuling to carry out a themed Party day activity entitled "Tracing Red Memories, Gathering Momentum for Progress." By retracing the path of "Third-Line Construction," they revisited the glorious deeds of their predecessors who dedicated their lives to supporting national defense construction.
Located in Baitao Town, Fuling District, Chongqing, the military project is situated close to the Wu River, backed by the Wuling Mountains. It was a key project of the Third-Line Construction and China's second nuclear raw materials industrial base. In the 1960s, at the call of the motherland, tens of thousands of patriotic young people gathered here from all over the country. Over 18 years, they hollowed out Jinshan Mountain, creating the known "world's largest artificial cave."
Party members traversed the magnificent and maze-like "816" project, carefully visiting the open areas such as the 104 nuclear power generation hall, the nuclear reactor hall, and the central control room. Listening to the guide's vivid explanations, they experienced firsthand the dedication of the Third-Line Construction workers, who, in times of material scarcity, used backward tools and poured all their efforts into creating this masterpiece. They couldn't help but marvel. Learning that the older generation of builders, to keep state secrets, upheld the oath of "not telling their parents above, not telling their wives and children below," and "disappeared" from the map with Baitao Town for more than 20 years, moved everyone deeply. Their dedication in overcoming difficulties and their simple and hardworking spirit deeply touched the hearts of those present, providing a profound ideological education.
Through this study, the Party members felt the hard-won peace and development and understood more clearly the responsibilities they bear as Party members. They all expressed their determination to perform their duties diligently, bravely take on responsibilities, overcome difficulties, and work hard in their posts. They will actively forge ahead on the path of high-quality development and innovation-driven development for enterprises in the new era, striving towards the long-term goal of building the group into a leading intelligent manufacturing enterprise in the domestic and international power transmission and touch display fields.
