Passing the torch, unforgettable mentorship | Landai Technology Teachers' Day Special - My Mentor and I

Author:

Landai Technology

There is a special group of people in the company

They have never been on a "three-foot lecture platform"

But they selflessly share their mastered skills

to new employees

They are experts and core forces in various positions

and they are also "nurturing gardeners" who teach by example and silently dedicate themselves

They are the inheritors of the company's "passing on the torch" culture

and even more so, the practitioners of the company's "strong enterprise through talent" strategy

"Master and apprentice" are both teachers and friends

Love their jobs and work together

For only one purpose

To let Landai's talent

"surpass their teachers"

Let's get to know them

Let's hear their stories!

Landai Technology Teachers' Day Special - Me and My "Master"

The Exemplary "Big Sister"

My name is Han Zhaoqi. I graduated from Chongqing Electromechanical Vocational and Technical University and currently work in the Technology Center. In the "master-apprentice" mentoring program launched by the company, I am honored to be the apprentice of Wang Changgui, a senior technician in the Technology Center. She is a person who pays great attention to detail. On my first day, she taught me to consider all aspects of a task before starting, keeping in mind the ancient saying "a slight difference leads to a great mistake," and to carefully plan and approach every task assigned by the company.

To help me quickly get up to speed on unfamiliar tasks, she always advises me to explore with questions, to go deep into the field, to consult the drawings, and to personally ask, measure, compare, and verify at the operational level, to ensure thorough understanding and awareness. Under her hands-on guidance, I learned how to use various measuring tools, various measurement reports, and how to solve general production problems. She could have taken a vacation or rest, but she insisted on accompanying me, encouraging and helping me grow. Her selfless sharing of her many years of technical experience deeply moved me, and I secretly vowed not to let down my master's hard work.

In the future, I will continuously hone my skills, improve my work abilities, and strive to become a core force in driving the company's development.

My Master's Care Has Accompanied My Growth

I am Luo Li, a graduate of Chongqing University of Science and Technology majoring in Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation. I currently work in the Landai Mechanical Quality Assurance Department. My master is Chen Peng, a measurement engineer. I affectionately call him "Brother Chen." As an expert in measurement, he not only has strong professional skills but also handles himself well in all situations; he is a highly intelligent and emotionally mature senior colleague.

As a newcomer to the workforce, I was very confused when faced with the complex work, not knowing where to start. Brother Chen taught me to start with the work instructions, step by step, to understand each testing equipment, to learn to use the basic instruments such as gear testing instruments, three-coordinate measuring machines, profile projectors, and roundness testers. In addition, Brother Chen took me to the finished product inspection process and let me be responsible for writing the measurement tools in the shipping report, further exercising my ability to use measurement skills. When I made mistakes due to negligence, Brother Chen took responsibility for me and helped me review the situation to find the cause of the error and provided constructive suggestions for improvement, helping me learn from my mistakes. This made me deeply feel the inclusiveness and warmth of the Landai "big family."

Next, I will use the work methods taught by Brother Chen, as well as the spiritual strength he has given me, to work diligently in my future position, continuously learning quality management methods, mastering management skills, and improving my professional quality and abilities, striving to become a qualified quality engineer as soon as possible.

My Master is an "Expert"

My name is Li Dingwen, and I am a Landai newcomer who graduated from Chongqing Communication Institute majoring in Vehicle Engineering. My master is Pi Dong, a senior employee of the Technology Center. In my eyes, he is an extremely dedicated technical expert who has been awarded the company's "Landai Star" honor many times. Under his guidance, I quickly mastered the analysis methods of the product's pre- and post-heating M values and gained a preliminary understanding of industry standards such as dimensional chains, roughness, and Fourier.

At work, my master always approaches every technical problem with a rigorous and responsible attitude. He handles problems quickly and efficiently, and the quality of his work is high, making him deeply trusted by his colleagues. When I couldn't help but ask him for guidance, he would always use this opportunity to teach me how to collect information through details parameters and various channels, and to analyze how to solve problems; he taught me to summarize my experience and deal with similar problems using what I have learned. My master also actively communicates with me about work methods, helping me clarify my work priorities and broaden my thinking. Now, every morning when I go to work, I will habitually open my computer to organize processes, debug and wait for work, and to plan my work, prioritize tasks, and ensure that everything is orderly. Under his guidance, I have diligently studied my job knowledge, and my work abilities have improved significantly, gradually earning the recognition of my colleagues.

On the eve of Teachers' Day in 2024, I would like to say to my master, "You have worked hard. Thank you for your selfless guidance. I wish you all the best in your future work!"

Sisters Working Together, Moving Forward

My name is Tan Jing, and I graduated from Southwest University with a major in accounting. I am very fortunate to have joined Landai and become a member of the Finance Center. My master is Sister Deng Xiaohong, the accounting supervisor.

On my first day, Xiao Hongjie cautioned me that to master the company's business, I must first understand the company's overall situation. So, Xiao Hongjie took me to the workshop for on-site training during inventory. Before the inventory, she introduced the company's business to me, giving me a clear understanding of concepts such as products, production lines, and assets. During the inventory, she taught me how to analyze and compare to form an asset map corresponding to the physical objects, speeding up the inventory process. After the inventory, she taught me how to summarize and organize, continuously enriching and improving my mental "database." I benefited greatly from this first lesson. In daily work, Xiao Hongjie would also involve me in handling business as much as possible, patiently answering key and difficult questions in practical operations. She often asked about my learning progress, examined my mastery of business knowledge, helped me "take my pulse," and thoughtfully provided "tips" for improvement, making me more and more comfortable with my work. She is kind, considerate, and possesses strong business capabilities. She is both my mentor and my friend. With her help, my business capabilities have improved rapidly, and I can now independently undertake some business work.

In the future, I will take Xiao Hongjie as a role model, accelerate my growth, and strive to become an independent and excellent financial worker as soon as possible.

What apprentices want to say to their masters

Our masters' words and deeds have significantly changed and improved our work habits, efficiency, and quality. Having left the ivory tower of university, our initial arrogance as "top students" has gradually been replaced by a down-to-earth and proactive work attitude. The rapid development of the company and its eagerness to attract young talents have provided us with opportunities and platforms for growth. We will cherish every learning opportunity, quickly shed our immaturity, and constantly strive for excellence. We will seize opportunities, meet every challenge, and let our achievements and youthful value shine brightly in our sweat and hard work.

Time flies, heritage continues

It is precisely with the continuous influx of fresh blood

The training, cultivation, assistance, and guidance of key employees
